University of the Arts
UArts is a well-respected art school located smack in the midst of Philadelphia’s bustling Arts District. Less happily, it not only faces stiff competition locally (Tyler, Moore, PAFA) but from the globally renowned art schools a short drive away in New York City. We differentiated UArts by mirroring their faculty’s focus on students by heavily featuring student work, via a decidedly non-slick visual expression that embraces the messiness and uncertainty of any artistic undertaking.
